On Wednesday, December 4, Ms. Combs, Mr. Dobrozsi, Ms. Roesch, and Mr. Suer will be officially sworn into office in a ceremony beginning at 6:00 p.m. The public is invited to attend this ceremony.

This month marks the end of my second four-year term as a member of City Council. My decision not to run again was a difficult one for many reasons. As a proud citizen of a ‘premier community’, I have been honored to represent the citizens of Montgomery over the last eight years.

Volunteer knows no boundaries. She has traveled to 44 of 50 states, so it is no surprise that when it comes to community involvement, geography does not hold Marcallene Shockey captive. Shockey signed up for the 2013 class of the Montgomery Citizens’ Leadership Academy because she had heard so many interesting things about the class. “I’m so glad I did,” she said. “I have enjoyed all of the classes, but I have especially enjoyed meeting a great group of Montgomery residents. They don’t seem to care that I live in Blue Ash.”
